Incredible balcony views of the estuary that really make you feel like you're on the edge of the galaxy. The room layout is quite chic and provides a sleek, modern touch that fits with the coastal vibe.
For the price of over £300 a night, the room feels cramped—barely larger than a bathroom. Noise levels can be a real issue with street sounds and morning disturbances like bins being collected, not to mention slamming doors from the corridor. A few maintenance oversights need attention. our bathroom blinds were broken, and the safe wasn’t working upon arrival. The complimentary gin offer was misleading, as we only got it on the first day.

A Weekend to Remember
We enjoyed two nights in a delightful double room with an estuary view. The complimentary drinks were a lovely touch. Dining was superb. the fillet steak truly stood out! some issues with the pool temperature were noted—a tip , inquire about the spa's heat levels before planning your swim.

The hotel’s decoration was charming, especially the subtle coastal motifs that created a warm ambiance. The lounge areas were easily accessible, allowing for a leisurely experience without any hassle for those of us who aren't as sprightly anymore.
More comfortable seating would enhance relaxation.

Just a balanced option for a brief weekend stay in Salcombe with the best value for money ratio. The staff were charming and offered to give us lifts in the hotel car, which made our trip easier. Consider arriving early for breakfast to avoid running out of food.

Staying for two nights offered an excellent room with a stunning sea view, complemented by a personal touch like a greeting card and chocolates for our anniversary. The coffee pod machine was a pleasant surprise, allowing us to enjoy real coffee instead of typical instant options. The breakfast had a wide variety of dishes, and the spa facilities were good, but a bit limited in size. The complimentary gin and tonic was a nice gesture, though not to our taste.

Oh, the poached eggs at breakfast were simply divine, perfectly runny and a great start to the day! The complimentary gin upon arrival was a lovely touch that made us feel right at home. the attentive staff were always on hand to cater to our needs.
I did find those electronic light switches annoying at night—too bright for my liking! Plus, the bathroom fan was a bit of a nuisance, keeping me up the first night.

Stunning estuary views and attentive staff
The breathtaking views of the estuary from my balcony were a highlight of my stay. I particularly enjoyed the complimentary gin and sherry, which added a lovely personal touch. The staff were attentive and friendly, enhancing the overall experience. The indoor pool was a wonderful place to relax after a day of exploring. I found the menu options a bit limited for the dining experience.
